In a world with advances that are gear towards technology, these become major distractions to students. Many schools have allowed the use of laptops, tablets, or even phones for students to take notes and present presentations in classes. Students began to take advantage of this option by constantly texting or going onto social media. This way, even people who may want to concentrate on class work won’t be able to do so (Gukina2015). Other students will become engrossed in what their peers are doing rather than focusing on the task ahead.
